5.4.P.1 Emergencies
PROCEDURE PROCEDURE
Each principal or other appropriate site administrator will develop emergency plans as outlined by the Arizona Department of Education. Such plans will be submitted by September of each year.  These plans will provide for all types of emergencies and the appropriate responses that would be initiated, along with the Incident Command System in place.

The plans will designate specific emergency drills to be conducted, which include evacuation, lockdown, modified lockdown and shelter in place.  A diagram of the school floor plan will be posted in each room showing emergency exits to be used.
