Select Class Format Option for Your Student(s) by July 15
Hello Dysart District parents and guardians:
Today is the first day parents can select their class format preferences for each student. We ask that the selection be completed by Wednesday, July 15, so that the district can appropriately plan for staffing needs.

As a reminder, all students will begin the year with remote learning on Tuesday, August 4 and families that select either the Full-time Classroom or Split-Time Hybrid option will transition to campus when it is allowable. Currently the Governor is stating the in-person return date will be August 17, but that is subject to change depending on the local COVID-19 situation.

As promised, today we have posted informational videos with more details about the various options available, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions document. It is our hope that these new resources will help answer some of your questions regarding the options available, and what to expect when schools open. We encourage you to review each of the resources at the links below or on, and if you still have questions, or need help getting information regarding your child’s specific needs, please contact the school directly.

To get started with your selection, please take our “Class Format Selection for 2020-2021” survey in English or Spanish. You may also access it through the Parent Portal at Once logged in, from the Message Center, select the “Announcements” tab and click on “Class Format Selection for 20-21” to begin. Please make sure you submit your choices for each of your K-12 children that is in the Dysart district. For Preschool, our staff will contact parents with more details and specifics about the options available to them.
Please remember to make your selections by the end of the day on July 15! This will help us plan for our staffing needs this year. We know this will be a unique and challenging start of school for everyone. Here in Dysart, we are dedicated to educating your students, regardless of the circumstances, and appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we all navigate the many challenges that are sure to arise.
