Hello Asante Families-

We hope that you were able to enjoy some relaxation with family over the Spring Break!  We are headed in to fourth quarter and state testing is upon us for our 3-8 grade students.  Below is the schedule for testing:

• March 30: Science (Grades 5 and 8)
• April 4: Reading Fluency Test (Grade 3)
• April 5: Writing (Grades 4, 7, 8)
• April 6: Writing (Grades 3, 5, 6)
• April 7: Reading Part 1 (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
• April 12: Reading Part 2 (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
• April 13: Math Part 1 (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
• April 14: Math Part 2 (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Testing will begin at 8:45 AM each day.  It is important that students are well-rested, have a good breakfast and bring the following items: 

• Chromebook fully charged and charger 
• Headphones (not Bluetooth)

Students must complete the test on the same day they start, so please avoid appointments or early pickups on these days. 

In addition, this is a reminder that Elective forms for grades (4-7) are due this Friday, March 25th.  Also, if you want your child to attend Summer Learning, the forms are due. Here is a final link to the letter that was sent out.
