Census 2020
The U.S. Constitution requires that each decade a census, or count, is taken of America’s population. This year’s Census will start in mid-March, and we hope that you will take the time to respond so that we can get an accurate count of our community. Census data serves as the basis for distributing federal funding to schools, and helps us plan for future community needs. This year for the first time, you will be able to self-respond online, by phone, or by mail. We encourage you to take advantage of these self-response options once you receive your invitation to participate. Please note that your responses to the 2020 Census are safe, secure, and protected by federal law. Your answers can only be used to produce statistics—they cannot be used against you in any way. Bear Drive
We are proud to be hosting our sixth annual bear drive to benefit the Team Emery Bear Drive for Phoenix Children’s Hospital during the holiday season. Our students would like your help to make their dream of starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion a reality.

We are collecting NEW teddy bears and other stuffed animals so each child at Phoenix Children’s Hospital (and many other children’s hospitals around the country) can have a cuddly buddy for the holiday season. Please be sure that all donations are brand new from the store with tags on them. We are unable to accept used/second hand stuffed animals because of health concerns.
With your help, we know we can reach our goal of collecting 4,000 NEW bears and stuffed animals by our December 13th deadline.

Thank you in advance for helping us to make this the most successful bear drive ever! If you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange a large pick-up or delivery of bears, please feel free to contact Mrs. Blunier.
