2021-2022 School Supply List

West Point Optional 2021-2022 Student Supply List
Arizona law requires that public schools provide the supplies required for academic success.  All materials required for a students education will be provided by the Dysart Unified School District.  This supply list represents general, optional items which you may supply at your discretion.  Please check with your K-8 school and child's teacher for an optional supply list before purchasing any supplies.  If you have questions regarding the optional supply list, please contact your K-8 school.


**This is the suggested supply list for a kindergarten classroom. 

1 crayon storage box
1  pencil pouch 
2 plastic folders with the 3 prong center and pockets (Five Star brand words the best) 
4 folders of your choice (you may label)
1 pack of 8 count crayons (very important when learning colors)
2 packs of 24 count of crayons
10+ glue sticks
1 PRIMARY composition notebook/journal  (you may label) 
***This is the one with primary lines on the bottom and picture space on the top.***
1 spiral bound notebook (you may label) 
2 Black dry erase markers (low odor)
Pink eraser 
Fat primary pencils

Classroom wish list

1st Grade

1 - Simple plastic pencil box or Pencil Pouch
24 - #2 pencils (Dixon or Ticonderoga preferred)
2 - Boxes Crayola crayons
3 (or more) Composition Notebooks
Refillable water bottle with Child's name on it
4 (or more) Expo dry erase markers
1 - Pair of child size scissors
2 - Large pink erasers (No pencil toppers erasers)
12 - Glue sticks
2 - 1" white binders
1 - Box of Kleenex
Headphones with Child’s Name on them (no earbuds please)

*Students will NOT need a compass or protractor

For Algebra:
Either a binder with paper or a spiral notebook to take notes
*Optional - a calculator (most students use their chromebook for this, but some like a separate calculator)
