When you upload a document, the website editor automatically makes a link to the document. If you’ve named the document something confusing, you might get something like this:

This is a problem, because visitors to the web page have no idea what the document contains. Instead, give the document a useful and descriptive filename before uploading.
 
Also, PDF files need to have text that is selectable. After opening a PDF, users need to be able to highlight the text in the document. (You can test this by clicking and dragging across the text.) This will ensure that screen readers can read the document. PDF files should not have images of unselectable text.
