Accessibility - Text Contrast/Use of Color

To ensure that all users have access to information posted on dysart.org, the Dysart Website Editor does not allow custom fonts and colors. This limitation has been placed to maintain sufficient color contrast between the foreground text and the background color throughout the site. However, this editor feature cannot manage images, banners, and PDFs.  Every page is carefully reviewed, with each uploaded image and document being inspected.

Here are some accessible and inaccessible examples.

Text Contrast

Differentiating the colors red and green or red and black are the most common forms of color deficient vision. Your content and background should have sufficient contrast to be legible for all users.
