Civic-Minded Leadership Signature Program

Three students posing for cameraRiverview is generating a legacy of Civic Minded Leaders.  We are creating leadership opportunities to enhance student understanding of self leadership, community leadership and even global leadership. We want to encourage students to dream big, to think critically about the world around them and to take action to be the the next generation of ‘movers and shakers’.  We are using the Steven Covey's Leader in Me program as our direct instruction model to help us synergize (a LiM term)  between families, students, teachers and civic leaders. Opportunities for student leadership include student council, tutors, mathletes, technology technicians for younger grades, community artists and so much more. Really, if students have a passion, we want to give them an outlet for that passion. We hope to provide a creative space for parents and community to come together and participate in this vision. Join us in this bold vision and support our next generation of Civic Minded Leaders.

With our amphitheater we hope to encourage learning that breaches the boundaries of the four walls of the classroom  by expanding our arts and athletics department, we hope to enhance the school experience and to develop world class artists and athletes. With our outdoor agricultural learning space, we hope to open up opportunities in the Sciences that pose real world solutions to real world problems.
