Frequently Asked Questions for Remote or iSchool Instruction

The below are some frequently asked questions for remote instruction.

I have never logged in before, what do I do?​

I am trying to log in to Schoology as a parent, but don’t remember my password.

The Schoology login is the same as the parent portal login.
If you do not remember your log in, go to and you will be able to reset this information.    Video Tutorial

My student doesn’t remember their password.​

Email your child’s teacher and they can reset the password. Teacher email can be found on the Asante webpage, go to INFO, then on the far left hit on Teacher Pages.If it occurs during office hours Monday through Friday from 7:15 to 3:45, you can also call 623-523-8900  to get assistance. 

What does my student do if their password says “expired”?

You or your child should email a teacher or call the number above during school hours to ask for the password to be reset. 

How can my student access their email?

On the homepage scroll to the bottom, under Tools go to Student Dmail.  Video Tutorial 

How can my child access their class instruction?​

Remote/In-person Students

Your child will access their classes via Schoology at
In addition, each week your child's teachers will also send an email with the learning for the week and schedule with links for live classes at anytime we are in remote learning. In addition, this information can be found on your child's teacher's website. 

iSchool Students

Your child will access their classes via Schoology at  In addition, your child's iSchool facilitator will send you information weekly to communicate learning goals for the week.  You can contact you can email your child's facilitator  to answer questions or set-up time to meet. 

How long should it take for the teacher to get back to me?

Teachers will try to answer all emails sent prior to leaving for the day.  If the teacher has already left campus, the expectation is that they respond within a work day.  Many will answer prior to this time frame.

Who do I contact if I experience technical difficulties?

For remote learning the first point of contact will be the teacher.  If the teacher cannot solve the issue the parent will be directed accordingly. During the school day, you can also call the office at 623-523-8900.

What do I do if I don’t have access to the internet? ​
