NEW IN 2021-2022!
Dysart will be launching four middle schools beginning in the 2021-2022 school year at the following campuses:  Ashton Ranch, Cimarron Springs, Dysart Elementary and Sonoran Heights for students in grades 5-8.   School will begin at 8:15 a.m. for all middle schools with dismissal at 1:00 p.m. on Monday Early Release days and  at 3:00 p.m. dismissal for Tuesday through Friday.

The middle school model allows Dysart to provide unique academic, elective and extracurricular opportunities for 5-8 grade students. Middle schools can better prepare students for the high school experience. Students attending Dysart middle schools will be able to select from several elective class options, study a foreign language, and participate in Career and Technical Education(CTE) classes. Students will also have opportunities to earn high school credit, giving them a head start when they begin high school.

If you live within the new middle school attendance boundaries and are currently attending your home school, your child's enrollment will automatically transfer to the middle school in your boundaries. If you do not live within a middle school attendance boundary, Open Enrollment is always an option as long as space is available. To apply for Open Enrollment, simply complete the application  at Dysart.org/OE for your school of choice.  To view boundaries for the 2021-2022 School Year, visit Dysart.org/Boundaries.

Transportation will be provided to Middle School students that live within the middle school boundaries, but are further than 1.25 radial miles from school subject to normal eligibility/boundary requirements. As there is currently no traffic light or safe crossing of Reems Rd. , Sonoran Heights Middle School students are expected to be bussed if they would have to cross Reems Rd.
