AAUW LogoAmerican Association of University Women, Northwest Valley Branch
The mission of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.  In addition to providing scholarships, the Northwest Valley Branch has supported the district by serving as classroom volunteers, mentors, and school site council members. AAUW continues to engage students with multi-generational STEM projects.   

Dysart Education Foundation
Dysart Education Foundation (DEF) founded in 1985, awards college scholarships to high school seniors that demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, and are in need of financial assistance. DEF also puts money directly into classrooms though teaching grants that enable teachers to provide innovative and exciting programs for students.

Friends of the Surprise Library
The Friends of the Surprise Libraries Inc. is a non-profit, independent organization that supports programs at the Surprise Regional Library, the Hollyhock Library, and other local libraries.  The Friends began their grant program in 2006. Over the last several years local schools have received over $264,816.  All funds for these grants come from the resale of donated books sold by Volunteers at Friends’ Place in the lobby of the Surprise Library on Bullard Avenue.

West MEC logoWest-MEC
West-MEC is a public high school district dedicated to providing innovative Career and Technical Education programs that prepare students to enter the workforce and pursue continuing education. West-MEC was established in 2002. It serves a huge region of 4,254 square miles, that is home to more than 1.1 million people. It is just one of the many, voter-approved, joint technological education districts throughout Arizona that gives students an introduction to a vast array of career services in more than 100 school districts, and fulfills a vital need in the education of our young adults.
