Your CaLL

The mission of YourCaLL is to create a 21st century community of learners and a sustainable model for developing leaders throughout the Dysart Unified School District.  
Staff members who meet eligibility requirements can apply to become CaLL Candidates. Once approved, they can design and propose projects that support their individual professional growth goals in alignment with the district strategic plan.

  Project Qualifications
  • Direct alignment to the strategic plan
  • Tool, strategy, program model, concept, or construct that supports engineering 21st century graduates
  • Can be replicated and is sustainable
  • Aligns with school CIP plan
  • Enhances the expertise of participants within an area of personal interest
  • Results in a product that can be used to improve educational practices in the district
  • May include collaboration among multiple CaLL candidates (not necessarily from the same site)
  • Includes a time commitment that supports the generation of a professional product
  • Includes project plan and timeline with milestones to which participants will be held accountable
     
  While completing a project, participants can…
  • choose their own activities during school sponsored professional development time
  • propose participation in professional development opportunities (conferences, books, webinars)
  • access a team advisor who provides project support and guidance
  • be accountable to advisor and principal for progress on project according to proposed timelines and milestones during professional development time
  • be added to the list in the front office that indicates the level and year it was achieved
  • project can be used towards 301 goals
   
 

Your CaLL Candidate graphicLevel 1: Candidate

Eligibility

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Dysart
  • Performs at proficient or higher in all areas according to most recent evaluation
  • Complete CaLL Candidate Application
  • Meets minimum performance requirements as evaluated by rubric

Level 2: Member

Your CaLL Member graphicEligibility

  • Completed at least one pre-approved CaLL project
  • Accumulated 1-30 points in CaLL program

PLUS
  • Determine individual professional development while working on CaLL project
  • Eligible to apply for Peer Mentoring position
  • Professional growth hours
  • CaLL project published and shared at CaLL Project Showcase

 
  

Level 3: Advanced

Your CaLL Advanced graphicEligibility

  • Completed at least two pre-approved projects
  • Accumulated 31-60 points in CaLL program

  • Eligible for Peer Mentoring position

Level 4: Fellow

Your CaLL Fellow graphicEligibility

  • Completed at least three pre-approved projects
  • Accumulated more than 60 points in CaLL program
