Marci Hessler, Principal

Hello Coyotes!
It is with great pride that I welcome you to the upcoming 2019-20 school year!  As the Principal starting my sixth year at Countryside, I am looking forward to meeting each and every new family this year as well as re-connecting with our current families.  Our teachers and staff are ready to have a year of learning and celebration of our academic growth.

As I celebrate 26 years in education, I am grateful and humbled to be a part of the Countryside community.  I have served as a seventh grade Language Arts teacher, a high school English teacher, an At-Risk Student Adviser, an Instructional Growth Teacher, and an Assistant Principal.  This is my 10th year in the Dysart Unified School District.

I have lived in the West Valley for 40 years and graduated from Peoria High School.  I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Arizona State University.  I live in the West Valley with my husband, son and two dogs.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or clarifications.  I firmly believe in the team approach to finding solutions.

In the mornings and after school, you will find me at the front of our main gates, greeting all of our wonderful students.  If you have a situation that needs time and proper attention, please schedule an appointment for a conference.

Here’s to the 2019-20 school year!
