Hello Rattler families,

My name is Scott Kerr and I am excited to be returning to Rancho Gabriela as Interim Principal.  I previously served as Rancho              Gabriela’s proud Principal from July 2010 to June 2020 and was happy to be a part of the terrific Rancho Gabriela community.
During my tenor as Principal, Rancho Gabriela received recognition as an A+ School of Excellence from the Arizona Education foundation and an "A" rating from the Arizona Department of Education multiple years in a row.

I am married to my wife, Kim for more than 25 years and am also the father to four sons who all attended Rancho Gabriela Elementary.

I look forward to working together again with the Rancho Gabriela school community.

Assistant Principal Alicia Ashby

Hello Rancho Gabriela Parents and Guardians,

I am so honored and excited to be a part of the Rattlers family as your Assistant Principal!  I am eager to meet and work with our students and families this year. I have been a Dysart community member and parent of 3 young children in the district since moving from Illinois in 2014.  As a 17 year educator, I have been allowed so many wonderful opportunities as a Teacher, Behavior Interventionist,  and Assistant Principal.

I look forward to our collaboration to help and support each of our students to learn and grow this year.  I believe in the teaching of the whole child, supporting their academic and social growth and allowing them to create, explore and flourish as individuals.

Our partnership is critical. Please do not hesitate to reach out at [email protected] or 623-523-8500.  Thank you for your support.
