As part of Shadow Ridge High Schools continued efforts to provide support, education and resources to parents, several different opportunities are being explored. ONE opportunity is a book club for parents with our social worker. The books would be tailored around parenting and children.

Shadow Ridge Family Night

Good Evening SRHS Families and Students,

This year our Counseling Staff is excited to announce that we will have one family night for all of our students on Tuesday, August 20th at 5:30 pm. We have invited colleges, universities and military representatives that will be available at 5:30 pm in the lobby of the auditorium. We have important information to share with you that will begin promptly in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. After our presentation, we will separate by cohorts to discuss specific information related to each cohort: Class of 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023.

SRHS Attendance Incentives
Welcome Back to an Extraordinary Year at Shadow Ridge High School!
As we all know, attendance plays a very important role in student achievement.  This year we would like to reward students who continue to make it a priority to be in school and be in class on time.  The Path to Good Attendance and Rewards begins Monday, August 12.  This year we are proud to announce the following attendance eligibility rewards:

"No Tardy Party"
Held once per Quarter
Eligibility Requirements:
  • No more than three (3) excused tardies per quarter 

Eligible students will be released by their teachers 10 minutes early for lunch on a designated date to be announced.

"Good Attendance Party"
Held once per Semester
Eligibility requirements:
 
  • No more than three (3) excused absences per period/ per class/per semester 
  • No more than three (3) excused tardies (total) per semester

Eligible students will be released 20 minutes early to their lunch by their teacher on a designated date to be announced.   They will also receive a personalized certificate.

During the reward parties, all eligible students will be in a drawing for prizes including:
 
  • Prom Passes
  • 2019-20 Yearbooks
  • Stallion Store Credit Vouchers
  • Homecoming Tickets
  • Athletic Event Passes
  • Hoopcoming Passes
  • Parking Permits (2020-21 school year)
  • Gift Card
  • Other surprises to be announced

Students will be notified of eligibility for for each of the above parties through their dysart.org email prior to the event date.
Parents will be notified of their student’s eligibility by their personal email provided to us on file prior to the event date.

Information for Drivers Driving To and From SRHS
Please see the Traffic Flyer for important information about driving to and from SRHS!!! 

Student parking in the surrounding communities is at your own risk.  We advise that students not park their vehicles in these areas.  Homeowner's associations may elect to have vehicles ticketed or towed.

Student parking on campus is by permit only.  Unauthorized vehicles will be booted.

If parents or students drive through the Perryville/Peoria intersection to or from school, please do so safely being mindful of the pedestrian traffic that uses the crosswalk.

Meet the Teacher Night

Welcome Home SR Students & Parents

Our Meet the Teacher Night will be on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Our campus will open at 3:45 pm.  When you arrive on campus, if you would like to walk around campus and see where the classes are, please feel free to do so.  You can also use this time to visit other resources on campus.

If you would like to Meet the Teacher and hear about the class, please follow the bell schedule below. The bell schedule beginning with 1st hour will start promptly at 4:00 pm.  You will also receive a copy upon your arrival along with a campus map.

Bell Schedule

4:00 - 4:10 pm     1st hour
4:15 - 4:25 pm     2nd hour
4:30 - 4:40 pm     3rd hour
4:45 - 4:55 pm     4th/5th hour
5:00 - 5:10 pm     6th hour
5:15 - 5:25 pm     7th hour
 

 
  • Campus will close promptly at 6:00 pm.  Use this time to go to Bookstore, Athletics in the Media Center, Counselors or Cafe.
  • Parking and accessibility to campus will be available from Desert Cove Rd, Peoria Ave and Perryville Road.
  • Looking forward to seeing you on Monday, August 5th.
