The VVHS School Counseling Team meets with students throughout the school year. Our goal is to be a "home" to a community of learners where we inspire student excellence and graduate all students to be College and Career ready.    Through persistence, respect, integrity, drive and excellence, we want our students to reach their full potential academically, athletically and through fine arts.  The VVHS School Counseling Team champions your success!

Heather Webb completed both her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education & School Counseling at Ottawa University, Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Webb is a National Board Certified school counselor, with over 20 years of experience in education. Her teaching journey began in the Pendergast Elementary School District as an 8th grade language arts teacher (5yrs); followed by 3 years as a K-8 school counselor. In 2007 she joined the VVHS Guidance team.  She has been a high school and club volleyball coach for 19 years. Mr. Rick Scaife   --  Student Last Names:  Che - Goo
I was a previous 8th grade science teacher, high school math teacher in the Peoria Unified School District, and also a Firefighter for a brief minute in that City as well. Since that time I have been a School Counselor in the district for 13 years. I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from N.A.U. and have over 20 years of experience in education. I have also been a Pole Vault Coach for that many years as well, and love working with kids to reach their potential and find success in any way possible. I am a proud husband of an elementary school teacher and father of 3 kids, 2 girls and a 1 boy, and recently became a grandfather! Mrs. Laura Weaver   --  Student Last Names:  Gop - Lop
Mrs. Weaver is an Arizona native, who also spent many years living in Northern California.  She has been married for more than 30 years, and is the proud mother of 3 grown children. Mrs. Weaver holds dual Masters Degrees from NAU and Ottawa University and has 25 years in education as a teacher, interventionist, support staff, and counselor. Mr. Steven Trezzo   --  Student Last Names:  Loq - Pef
It is a pleasure to serve the students and families of VVHS. I have enjoyed working with students for over two decades and will cherish every built relationship, as we work together to bring our teens to responsible citizenship through personal and academic success. Mr. Damien Bracey   --  Student Last Names:  Peg - Ste
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Previously an 8th grade social studies teacher for 7 years. This is my 14th year as a counselor.  I have a beautiful wife, daughter, and son.   I received my Bachelors at University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and completed my Masters Degree at Ottawa University.  I love sports ( GO! PACK GO! and Fear the Deer! ) and movies that go BOOM!!!  I am a past president of the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling.
