Learning Online

Although online learning is not a substitute for face-to-face education, it doesn't have to mean that education will be subpar.  At Dysart, our staff has been hard at work preparing for this journey.  As you prepare to join us, there will undoubtedly be many questions regarding how to navigate this new process.  It is our hope that this site will provide you with the resources you need to navigate this new educational experience.
The Dysart Learning Management System (LMS) is an online platform that supports personalized learning, collaboration, and communication in alignment with the Dysart Strategic Plan. Dysart has partnered with Schoology to deliver this LMS for all learners (students, staff, and parents) in the Dysart Unified School District.  Click the video below to get an overview of Schoology.

Schoology Student View

Students will be using Schoology for all aspects of their learning.  They will be logging in every day to access content, reading, and various other supplemental materials provided by their teacher.  This video will provide an overview of the student view in Schoology.

  Schoology Parent View

Parent access to Schoology will provide monitoring of student activities through online learning.  They will have access to assignments, tests and quizzes, as well as view discussion posts and grades.

In addition, parents may set up notifications to receive information about their child's progress based on specific criteria.    The following video will provide information about the parent view in Schoology.

If you would like specific instructions on setting up features in the parent view in Schoology, you may also click here.
