Remote Learning Information 

Schedules for the 2020-2021 School Year will be available on Monday, August 3rd 


Each Day of Remote Learning 
Students will be following their class schedule each day. The bell schedule is linked below. 
At the start of each class period student will log into Schoology to access that course. (Or follow the directions that have been provided by the teacher.)
Each day teachers will have the lessons posted for the day and a link to the virtual portion of the lesson. 
Teachers will be available to students throughout the class period. 
Students are responsible for logging in each hour, participating in all aspects of the lesson, and completing and submitting assignments. 
Students should be checking Schoology and their Dysart Dmail accounts regularly.

Helping your Child Get Logged Into their Chromebook 

Student Credentials
Student’s username for chromebooks is their Dysart email address.
The basic format is the first initial of student's firstname, the student's lastname, and the last 4 numbers of their student ID then @dysartstudents.org
The default password if your student hasn't changed it is the letter d followed by their student ID.  Example: d1234567

**If your student’s account is still the default password, please have them change their password at the below link.

Connecting Your Chroembook to WiFi
To connect to the Internet, use a compatible Wi-Fi network.

To Turn on Wi-Fi
1.At the bottom right, select the time.
2. Select Not Connected. 
Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
3. Turn on Wi-Fi. 
4. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.


Wi-Fi networks that work with Chromebooks
Open networks that don’t require a password
Secure networks that use WEP, Dynamic WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise, or WPA2-Enterprise settings
We recommend WPA2, as it is more secure than WEP or WPA
Standards: 802.11 a/b/g/n and 802.11ac for AC-equipped Chromebooks
