Weekly Updates 2/27/23

Dear Asante Families- 


As we end February and head into March there is a lot for students to be excited about around campus!  Field days and Homeroom Olympics are coming and many of our grade levels have upcoming field trips.  Our students continue to work hard on their goals and to focus on their learning!  Grades 3-8 are taking benchmark tests this week and preparing for state testing in April.

 Here are upcoming events and information:  

  •  Yearbook pre orders continue at the price of $27.  To order, go to www.gradsyearbook.com
  •  House color day is Monday and Asante Spirit Day is Friday! 
  •  Don’t forget the attendance line to call your students out is 623-523-8903, or you can call 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.  
  •  Our PTO is having a FUNdraiser on February 28th from 5-7 PM.  This will be at the McDonalds on 16547 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85388 
  •  Field Day for K/1st grade is coming up Friday, March 3rd! Our K/1st grade Asante Field Day is set for Friday, March 3rd, from 8:30-10:15am. Students will work together to complete many relay races and station activities. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, shoes, hats, and bring water bottles. Cookies will also be given out during the day of fun! If you have any questions, please email Coach P. - [email protected] 
  •  Field Day for 2nd/3rd grade is coming up Friday, March 3rd! Our 2/3rd grade Asante Field Day is set for Friday, March 3rd, from 12:45-2:45pm. Students will work together to complete many relay races and station activities. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, shoes, hats, and bring water bottles.
