TOGETHER WE'RE PROVIDING PROGRAMS THAT MAKE A DIRECT IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in the Dysart Unified School District prepare students to enter the workforce with the academic and technical skills needed to compete successfully in the job market. CTE programs are the backbone of a strong, well-educated workforce, which fosters productivity in business and industry and contributes to America’s leadership in the international marketplace. CTE students achieve academic excellence through authentic, hands-on, career focused learning.

TOGETHER WE'VE BUILT CHAMPIONS

The Dysart Unified School District ended the 2021-2022 school year with nine state championships in high school athletics, up from six the previous year. This year the district currently has nine additional state championships.

One of the programs that has helped propel Dysart athletics is our competitive athletics classes for high school students participating in after-school sports (baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, spiritline, volleyball). These classes help students hone their athletic skills and abilities during the school day. Students will be able to engage in strength and conditioning, analyzing film, and study their sport with their team during their regular class schedule.

Arts are highly valued in Dysart, and it shows! Dysart students earned the second most Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency in the state of Arizona, at 139, demonstrating our rigorous standards and high levels of competency in one of our three focus areas. Dysart provides students the opportunity to explore their artistic side through a rigorous and relevant comprehensive fine art program aligned with Arizona state and national standards. All students will participate in a progressive, performance-based curriculum that encourages students to reach their academic, creative and expressive potential.
