OVERVIEW
Riverview’s athletics program is designed to expose students to a wide range of competitive and non-competitive sports as well as the tools necessary for life-long health and fitness. Students will develop both athletic and leadership skills that can be utilized for life. Students also can participate in extracurricular sports including cross country (3rd-8th grade), basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, and cheerleading.
Riverview is part of the Dysart Unified School District (DUSD) division. The DUSD division is comprised of eight, K-8 Schools. All schools in the DUSD division will compete in the end of season playoffs against other DUSD division teams.

Cheer consists of two seasons for each division and a final All District Cheer Competition at the end of the school year. All cheer teams will cheer for their home team at basketball games and flag football games during the winter and spring seasons. The All District Cheer Competition is mandatory for all schools and is hosted by a high school Varsity Cheer Team.
