DHS Student Council will host the annual Staff vs Students Volleyball Game during 6th Hour in the New Gym. This event is for student and staff.

Admin & counselors will host a mandatory senior meeting with seniors in the auditorium during 3rd hour. All seniors must be present as the Sr. Checkout Sheets will be distributed.

Surprise Pickleball Association Scholarship Due in
All Day
The Surprise Pickleball Association Scholarship is due 04/30/2024.
They will be providing 6 scholarships of $2000 each this year. Here are the details:
-The scholarships are for $2000 each
-This is for scholars who attend high school in city of Surprise (if they commute in from other cities they still could apply if they attend school in Surprise)
-They do not have to play pickleball, it would be ideal if they were familiar with the sport, if they Google and paste what is online they are unlikely to be selected. Our panel has been doing this quite a while and it’s obvious to them if the scholars are copy pasting information (if there are students who would benefit from this scholarship, but are unfamiliar with the sport, I’d encourage them to attend a tournament or two or look on YouTube to watch it. I can provide resources if that would be helpful)
-The only other restriction/requirement would be: they must be a senior ready to graduate in May/June2024 and have plans to attend college

Sports Med~ Sports Physicals $20

DHS Sports Med Club is hosting a sports physical night for the 2024-2025 sports seasons on Thursday April 25 from 6PM to 8PM. The cost will be $20.00. Sign-up here.
