FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Make tax credit donations and pay fees online
District parents can now pay for athletic fees (pay to participate), elemiddle sports, lost library/text books, field trips, and extra-curricular activity fees online through the new TouchBase system for all Dysart high schools and seven elementary schools: Canyon Ridge, Cimarron Springs, Kingswood, Luke, Mountain View, Riverview, and Sunset Hills. All schools will accept online fee payments in the 2014-2015 school year.
Tax credit donations can also be made online, for any Dysart school, using the new system. A tax credit, allowed by Arizona Revised Statute 43-1089.01, allows married couples filing jointly a tax credit of up to $400, and individual taxpayers a credit of up to $200, when they contribute to extra-curricular activities in public schools. A school tax credit differs from a deduction because it is a full dollar-for-dollar reimbursement of the amount donated when taxes are filed.
Tax credit donations and student fees may be made without a processing fee using a credit card at https://az-dysart.intouchreceipting.com/ or by clicking on the Tax Credit link found on the home page at dysart.org.
