DUSD hosts College 101 Parent Nights
DYSART SCHOOLS - The Dysart Unified School District will host a College 101 Parent Night for parents of 7th through 12th grade students interested in learning about the college acceptance and financial aid process for their children on Tuesday, November 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Valley Vista High School Performing Arts Center located at 15550 N. Parkview Place in Surprise, Arizona.  Participating parents will have the opportunity to learn about FAFSA, ACT/SAT testing, scholarship opportunities, academic eligibility, and how students can use their high school experience to successfully bridge to higher education.

“We are ecstatic to provide this opportunity for our families,” shares Assistant Superintendent Dr. Stephen Poling.  “We hope this event will help our families begin the process earlier than ever with a clear idea of student goals.”

The evening will be broken up into sections where adults will attend specified sessions lasting 25 minutes with specific topics personalized to family interests.  Additionally, representatives from Arizona State University, Grand Canyon University, Northern Arizona University, Ottawa University, and the University of Arizona will be available for questions.
