Dysart Unified School District is accepting new PreK-12 student enrollment applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents and guardians can complete the necessary registration information online at Dysart.org/enroll at any time. Within the enrollment application, parents are able to select their home school, or request their child attend another school outside of their boundary school, including Freedom Traditional Academy, through Open Enrollment. Preschool enrollment options are also available on the main enrollment link above, as well as at GrowingMindsPreschool.org. Learn more at Dysart.org/Preschool.

For in-person enrollment assistance between June 8th and July 1st, families may visit the District Office Monday through Thursday at 15802 N. Parkview Place in Surprise, Arizona from 8am-4:30pm.  All K-12 school offices will reopen for in person enrollment on Wednesday, July 8.

Please note that in order to finalize registration the following documents will be required: government issued photo identification; birth certificate; proof of residency; and immunization records. To keep up with their child’s academic progress, parents are encouraged to sign up for the Parent Portal at Dysart.org/parentportal or via the Campus Parent app, available as early as 24 hours after registration is finalized. If you have a child that will be in kindergarten for the 2026/2027 school year you can enroll them in Kinder Experience! Kinder Experience is July 20th to July 23rd, 8:00am to 11:00am. Incoming Kinders can spend time getting to know the teachers, classrooms, and new friends.Your incoming student must be enrolled in kindgarted at Thompson Ranch and registered for Kinder Experience at the following link; Kinder Experience Registration Link

The Thompson Ranch front office will be closed Friday, July 12th, 2026, through Sunday, July 5th, 2026, and reopen on Monday, July 6th, 2026. If you need assistance during our closed office dates please contact the Dysart School district office at 623.876.7000. The Dysart District Office will be able to assist you with enrollment, withdrawals, and any other questions you might have. 

All Thompson Ranch Students return to class on August 6th, 2026! We can't wait to see everyone!

TRES Release times, Monday's at 1:45pm, Tuesday through Friday, 3:45pm

TRES is not on campus to watch students after release time, please make arrangements to have all students picked up at the parent pick up drive through. 

All student fines and fees must be paid before the end of the school year. All 8th grade fees must be paid in full in order for the student to walk in promotion. You can pay student fees at Dysart.org/Athletics. 

Cinco De Mayo will have a dunk tank, performances by Ballet Folklorico, Choir, and Cheer. Kona Ice will be there, as well as taco plates for sale adult plate $10.00, childs plate for $8.00.

Thompson Ranch Elementary School will be close and there will be no school on Friday, April 17th, 2026. 

Friday, April 24th, 2026, will be TRES Field Day. Please send your student to school with water, comfy clothes, and a change of clothes. Kona Ice will be on campus, students that bring money can purchase Kona Ice.

TRES Scholastic Book Fair Monday, March 23rd, 2026, through Friday, March 27th, 2026. Wednesday, March 25th, 4:30pm to 6:30pm is family night!

All 8th grade promotion pictures and panoramic photo can be purchased at Grads.com when your student brings their QR code home. 

Thompson Ranch will be holding our 2nd Annual Academic Showcase, Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. This event is for all family members to join us at Thompson Ranch and share in class projects, lessons, and academics that your student is learning. Let you student show off how smart they are and what a great job they are doing in their classes!

All Spring Sports Schedules are posted on the Dysart Athletics page as well as the TRES ParentSquare page. Spring season includes boys basketball, girls basketball, boys soccer, girls soccer, and cheer II. If you have any questions you can contact the TRES front office at 623.523.8400.

It’s Time to Complete the Annual Parent Survey!

Please remember to complete our annual Parent Survey if you haven’t already done so. We want to know what our district and school are doing well and how we can improve in the future. It should take about 5 minutes to complete and will be open through Sunday, February 15. Find it in English at www.dysart.org/survey and in Spanish at www.dysart.org/encuesta 

All students will release early from school on Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th for parent/teacher conferences. Please make arrangements to pick your student up early.
