Meet the Superintendent
The Dysart Unified School District Governing Board named Dr. Jim Dean as the district’s Acting Superintendent at the May 11, 2022 board meeting. Dr. Dean is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Support Services of the District and has worked in various leadership roles in the District since 2005. The Board will meet in the near future to determine its next steps to permanently fill the superintendent position.

Superintendent's Advisory Councils
The Superintendent's Advisory Councils provide an opportunity to expand communications with District stakeholders and provides input and leadership in developing plans that will make an impact on school campuses in the Dysart Community. Every meeting provides time for free exchange and discussion. Meeting information for each group is posted below. For more information, please call 623.876.7002.
Parent Advisory Council Meetings
These meetings are attended by campus parent leaders and administrators. The group meets four times per year. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
Certified Staff Advisory Council
This group includes certified staff representatives from each campus. The group meets four times per year. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
Classified Staff Advisory Council
This group includes support staff representatives from each campus and from district departments. The group meets four times per year. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
High School Student Advisory
This group includes student leadership at each high school campus and the district's alternative program. Meetings are held on each high school campus and the alternative program three times per year.
Dysart Student Leadership Council
This group includes four student leader representatives from each High School Student Advisory. The group meets monthly. All meetings are at the Dysart District Office.
