School Year Calendars
According to Arizona law, school is in session for 180 days for all students. Dysart has a traditional-style school calendar. The process of setting a school calendar begins with a community committee, includes an opportunity for public input, and is ultimately approved by the district Governing Board.

- October 5-6 - K-8 Parent / Teacher Conferences (½ days for K-8)
- October 9-13 - Fall Break
- October 19 - CTE Expo
- October 20-21 - Festival of Choirs
- November 7 - Band Jam
- November 10 - Veterans Day (Observed)
- November 14 - Future Freshman Night
- November 15 - Open Enrollment Begins
- November 20-24 - Thanksgiving Recess
- December 21-22 - High School / Middle School Final Exams (10:30am high school release/11:15am middle school release)

- December 25 - January 8 - Winter Break
- January 9 - School Resumes
- January 15 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

- May 23 - Last Day for Students
Students are dismissed early every Monday beginning Aug 7 to provide time for teacher professional development.
