The purpose of this policy is to provide you with information about the data collected through the District’s website so that you can make informed decisions about how you use the website.

Information We Collect

Our website does not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily provide it to us. Any time that you provide information to our website, you will be asked to provide consent to the collection of information.

Personal information submitted through our website will not be transferred, sold or rented to any third-party unless explicitly stated at the time of collection. You are not required to participate in any of these activities to view or download information from our website.

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse our website, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the website, and information about how you interact with the website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the website, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the website.

How Do We Use Your Device Information?

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our website (for example, by generating analytics about how our community browse and interact with the website, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns.)
