Farmer's Market

Throughout the year students will have the opportunity to visit our Farmer's Market table and sample fresh fruits and veggies. We encourage students to try something they have never tried before! Nutrition information and fun facts about the fruits and veggies are provided prior-to and during the event.

Food Truck Lunch Service

Our second food truck is coming soon! Our high school food truck rotates between our four high schools, offering a different tasty selection each week.

Roving Chef

This is a great opportunity for students to work directly with our District Chef and learn about food, food safety, then follow a recipe and cook lunch!

Pre-K Mystery Basket

The Nutrition team visits pre-k classrooms throughout the year with a "mystery basket" full of fresh, exotic fruits and veggies. Students will have opportunity to see, feel, smell, and learn about the produce. We then read the book "Sneaky Spinach" and sample green juice.
