Human Calculator

The Human Calculator, Scott Flansburg came to MVS. Mr. Flansburg is an educator, speaker, Guinness World-Record Holder, best selling author, and host of "The Human Calculator" television show on History Channel International. Mr. Flansburg engaged our students in teaching mental math and amazed us with his demonstration of how he can compute math faster in his mind than on a calculator. The students left being motivated and looking forward to the first annual Counting Bee. Photogallery

MVS Steam Day

STEAM Day was a huge success! Students used the Engineering Design Process to solve a real-world problem. Students presented their projects to their peers and students in other grade levels. The students were excited to discuss their projects with Principal Miller and Maricopa County Superintendent, Steve Watson. We hope you can take part in our STEAM Family Night being held on December 13th. Photogallery
