Competitive Sports Class

Dysart offers  competitive athletic classes for high school students participating in after-school sports. Competitive athletics is an opportunity for students to hone their athletic skills and abilities within the school day.  Students will be able to engage in strength and conditioning, analyzing film, and study their sport with their team during their regular class schedule.  We believe this experience will take Dysart Athletics to the next level.

Competitive Athletics

Students will participate in weight training, physical conditioning routines, and additional practice time that compliment their sport of interest.

Competitive Athletic Honors

In addition to the requirements of the regular class, students in the honors track will be required to complete a research paper or project, a reflection and presentation based on a topic of interest related to the course.

Competitive Athletics/Honors Prerequisite: Approval of Head Coach PE/Elective Credit: 1/Repeatable Fees: $25 per semester Location: Competitive athletics classes are offered at all high schools
