Volunteer in Dysart

"Everybody can be great because anybody can serve.”  ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the extra time, they just have the passion and commitment to serving others.  Our school community is excited to integrate community members into our schools and programs.  Community members looking to get involved and make a difference in the lives of children and their families can volunteer in many ways for our schools, offering valuable support to educators!

In order to become a volunteer with Dysart Schools, follow these easy steps:

  • STEP 1:  Review the Volunteer Handbook 22-23 and complete the application linked at the end of the handbook.
  • STEP 2:  The Volunteer and Compliance Specialist will schedule a time to complete your volunteer application, take your ID picture, record your fingerprints for background check, & complete the volunteer orientation.
  • STEP 3: Wait on your fingerprint clearance / background check, takes approximately 6-10 weeks, plan accordingly. Fingerprint clearance must be renewed every 5 years.
  • FINAL STEP:  Recieve your official GREEN VOLUNTEER BADGE!  Report to your site and you can get started!
