3rd Grade Field Trip-Musical Instrument Museum

Third grade explored the science of sound production and vibration at the Musical Instrument Museum.  Students learned the different categories of instruments that make up an orchestra.  Students participated in an African drumming workshop where they learned how to make different sound and rhythm patterns on the djembe drum.  This field trip was music to our ears!
