OVERVIEW
Dysart Unified School District offers a variety of sports for our young student athletes. The Dysart Unified School District considers interscholastic athletics a vital part of the total educational process. The Athletic Department is committed to a process which recognizes an equal opportunity for all students, regardless of sex, color, national origin, religion or economic status.
The goal of the Dysart middle level K8 sports program is to provide all students with a safe and supportive environment that encourages active participation in a variety of sports. We strive to provide positive experiences and guide our student athletes toward realizing their full potential. Win or lose, our students learn lessons of a lasting and positive nature.
The Dysart Schools Conference comprises schools from the district. Regular season games will be played against teams in either the Blue or Green region. At the end of the regular season, the top 6 teams in the Blue and Green Regions will come together and compete in the Dysart Schools Tournament to crown a champion. The top four teams from the Dysart Schools tournament will compete in the Northwest Valley Athletic Conference Tournament of Champions against the top teams from Peoria and Deer Valley Unified School Districts.

DUSD Individual Sport Rules
Cheer consists of two seasons for each division and a final All District Cheer Competition at the end of the school year. All cheer teams will cheer for their home team at basketball games and flag football games during the winter and spring seasons. The All District Cheer Competition is mandatory for all schools and is hosted by a high school Varsity Cheer Team.
