OVERVIEW
Surprise Elementary School is proud to offer Art Special Area and Elective Classes for all Kindergarten - 8th Grade students. Students in Kindergarten - 4th Grade, attend Art class with their homeroom classes throughout the year. All 5th - 8th Grade students take at least one Art elective class, specializing in a variety of mediums. Surprise Elementary is committed to expanding our Art Program to include Art opportunities outside of school.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
Choir/General Music & Drama
Singing and music are a means to express our deepest thoughts and emotions. Students in choir, drama and music classes here at Surprise will participate in learning many different styles of musical and dramatic expression.
Fine Arts
Here at Surprise Elementary School we value our student’s creativity and individuality. The art program covers multiple types of visual mediums and gives sour students a place to express themselves creatively.
Band
Band does more than just make sounds. It changes the way we think and act. The skills your child will learn in band will help your child be successful on the stage, in the classroom and for the rest of their lives. Join our Surprise band program!
