Meet the Superintendent
Dr. John Croteau has been with Dysart since 2019, previously serving the district as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Assistant Superintendent for Support Services. Dr. Croteau has also served as an chief operations officer, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, school safety administrator, executive director, principal, and assistant principal, instructional leader, teacher and coach in other districts prior to joining Dysart. Dr. Croteau holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Acacia University, a Masters in Administration from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Colorado State University. His accomplishments include leading schools with excelling and “A” labels, a Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education, and a “Front Tier” School by the Arizona Department of Education and Arizona State University.

Superintendent's Advisory Councils
The Superintendent's Advisory Councils provide an opportunity to expand communications with District stakeholders and provides input and leadership in developing plans that will make an impact on school campuses in the Dysart Community. Every meeting provides time for free exchange and discussion. Meeting information for each group is posted below. For more information, please call 623.876.7002.
Parent Advisory Council Meetings
These meetings are attended by campus parent leaders and administrators. The group meets one time per semester. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
Certified Staff Advisory Council
This group includes certified staff representatives from each campus. The group meets one time per semester. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
Classified Staff Advisory Council
This group includes support staff representatives from each campus and from district departments. The group meets one time per semester. All meetings are held at the Dysart District Office.
High School Student Advisory
This group includes student leadership at each high school campus and the district's alternative program. Meetings are held on each high school campus and the alternative program three times per year.
Dysart Student Leadership Council
This group includes four student leader representatives from each High School Student Advisory. The group meets monthly. All meetings are at the Dysart District Office.
