College Info, Scholarships and CTE opportunities

Attention Class of 2024.  Be a leader will be partnering with our amazing DHS counseling team December 13th from 2:30pm-5pm in Room 4017 here on the DHS campus.  If you need assistance with finding ways to pay for college- You don't want to miss this event. 


Before you attend, please take a look at the following  important things you and your parent/guardians must complete: 


  • Both parents who will assist student in the FAFSA process will need to have a FAFSA id- Click here 
  • Student who will need  financial assistance need to create a FAFSA account before the event. Click link above to get started 
    •  Students must use personal email and not school email when creating account
    • Students must bring their social security cards or know their social security number as it will assist in creating their fafsa account.

  • This event is for  current seniors !!
  • 2024-2025 fafsa application opens on  December 31, 2023

EMS PROGRAM AT Willow Canyon High

This 1 year Emergency Medical Services Program prepares 11th grade students to work in various emergency medical and medical-type industries such as paramedic, firefighting, nursing, etc., while preparing students to get certified and enter into the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and earn the American Heart Association CPR/AED certification. This program is a Senior level block format class which requires travel to complete internship hours. Click this link to learn more about our EMS program and to apply
