The Vista Grand Opening

The Vista Center for the Arts held their Grand Opening Celebration featuring a ribbon cutting ceremony and guest speakers including Dysart Superintendent Dr. Kellis, Surprise City Gov Mayor Skip Hall, and Kathy Knecht from the West Valley Arts Council. The day also featured student performances as well as a quartet from the West Valley Symphony. We are excited to have The Vista as a premier art venue in the Northwest Valley! Solar Car

Students from Shadow Ridge High School's Engineering program are working to build a solar car for the Racing the Sun competition in Tucson, Arizona. The car will compete against 20 other high schools in the state and test the student's real-world skills. Video | Photo Gallery

Average Teacher Salaries

With the Governing Board approval of the proposed FY 2020 budget, the Dysart Unified School District is proud to announce the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2020 is $50,799. As a comparison, the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2019 was $48,303, an increase in average teacher salaries from the previous year of $2,496 or a percentage increase of 5.0%.
