Graduation Info & Senior Timeline

GRADUATION:

The Class of 2024 High School Graduation ceremony will be held on May 15, 2024 at State Farm Stadium located at 1 Cardinals Drive in Glendale, AZ 85305.   

Senior Graduation Ceremony:   

May 15, 2024  10:00 am - State Farm Stadium 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Graduation Announcement Distribution:  

April 5, 2024  during lunches outside the Bookstore. 

If you come to pick up your pre-ordered Announcements after April 5th 2024, they will be at the Bookstore before school, during lunch, or after school by 2:45pm. 

Senior Meeting- Presentation: 

April 22, 2024  during 3rd hour in the Auditorium. This is a mandatory meeting for senior students. Senior Checkout Form will be distributed and explained.

Prom:  

April 27 , 2024  7:00 pm - 11:00 pm - La Princesa 

FAFSA Workshop:   

May 1, 2024 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in room 4017. 

The DHS Family Outreach Specialist and Gear Up is offering assistance with FAFSA applications for students and parents. Please start the process by going to studentaid.gov to get started. This is the last workshop for this school year.

Senior Awards: 

May 7, 2024  6pm in the Auditorium 

DHS Senior Awards for the class of 2024 will be held from 6pm-8pm in the DHS Auditorium. 

*Seniors who will receive an award will be invited and invitations will be mailed home as well. Students, staff, and community members are welcomed to attend to support those being recognized.

Senior Check Out Forms Due: 

May 10, 2024  follow the instructions on the senior checkout form, complete it and return it to the counseling office. *All checked out items returned and all fees must be paid.

Senior Breakfast: 

May 13, 2024  7:15 am - 8 am in the Cafeteria 

Graduation Rehearsal- Mandatory: 

May 13, 2024  8:00 am - 9:30 am in the New Gym 

Cap & Gown Distribution:  

May 13, 2024  9:30 am in the Auditorium Lobby.  If you come to pick up your Cap & Gown after May 13th, it will be at the Bookstore. 

Senior Field Day:

May 13, 2024  9:45 am -11:00 am on the Main Field and Cap & Gown pickup. 

DMS Parade:

May 13, 2024 12:00 pm at Dysart Middle School

DMS would love to celebrate Class of 2024 students who attended El Mirage Elementary or Dysart Middle School with a parade on May 13th. Please arrive at DMS between 12:00 pm - 12:20 pm and bring your cap and gown. You are welcome to bring sign to show what your future plans are. 

Senior Graduation Ceremony:   

May 15, 2024  State Farm Stadium. 

Students arrive by 9:00 am. 

Graduation begins at 10:00 am.
