Title I

Title I Information

  • Title I is a federally funded program included in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which supplements regular classroom instruction by providing support for students who are at risk of not meeting state academic standards.  The purpose of Title I Part A - Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged, is to provide a fair, equitable, and high-quality education to all children.
  • Schools meet criteria based on total student enrollment and the number of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch.
  • Title I funds currently provide additional funding for 11 of our Dysart schools.

Family Resources

Meal Application

We ask that all families complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application for this school year, which helps maintain school funding and ensures that qualified families will continue to receive free or reduced priced meals. It is critical that all families complete the application at SchoolCafe.com.  Meals are always available for purchase. Parents can prepay for meals, a la carte or snack items, view their balances, or place restrictions on purchases to their child’s meal account at SchoolCafe.com. When students go through the meal line they simply need to provide their student ID at the register to process the transaction. Additional information on meal services can always be found at Dysart.org/Nutrition.

Complete the short meal application today to support school funding and ensure qualifying student(s)/schools receive benefits including:

  • School Funding: maintains funding for student programs and services.
  • School Meals: Free or reduced prices on delicious and nutritious meals.
  • Preschool
  • Academic Intervention: Math, Reading, and Kinder
