School Leadership

Amy Crow with black belted dress

Hello Firebird Families!

It is a true honor to serve as the proud principal of Freedom Traditional Academy for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! My name is Amy Crow, and I am thrilled to lead a community of dedicated students, teachers, and staff who are committed to cultivating successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree and teaching certificate from the College of Education at Arizona State University. Later, I completed a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most recently, I graduated from Arizona State University with a second Master's degree in Educational Leadership—so, Forks Up!

This coming year marks my 21st in education. I began my career building a dance program and coaching Spiritline at Valley Vista High School. From there, I transitioned into an instructional coaching role as a Teaching and Learning Specialist, served as Interim Assistant Principal at El Mirage Elementary, and most recently, had the privilege of serving as Freedom Traditional Academy’s Assistant Principal and Principal.

I firmly believe that every child deserves a well-rounded education—one that fosters strong citizenship, academic excellence, and a passion for lifelong learning. It is a privilege to be a part of your child’s educational journey and to support them as they soar to success.

I am truly proud to be a Freedom Firebird and look forward to an amazing 2026-2027 school year!

Greetings Firebird Families!

My name is Amy Lundberg, and I am honored to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Freedom Traditional Academy.

With great excitement and a deep sense of responsibility, I am committed to supporting every student, teacher, and family as we continue to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. I bring with me 15 years of experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher, Peer Mentor, Master Teacher, and Department Chair, and I am passionate about growing all students to achieve academic excellence through rigorous instruction, exceptional citizenship, and success as lifelong learners.

What drew me to Freedom Traditional Academy was its strong culture of collaboration, high standards for learning, and the warmth that is shared among staff, students, and families. I am eager to build strong relationships with each of you and work closely with Principal Crow to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

You can expect to see me in classrooms, at school events, and around the building, actively involved and always ready to listen. Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself—I look forward to meeting you! I am truly excited about the year ahead and all we will accomplish together.
