ASU LEAPS Military Infrastructure Resiliency Design Competition

On Saturday, September 16th, a team of Shadow Ridge students consisting of Wyatt Wilson, Travis Cain, Donovan Lerma, and Garet Jurrens competed in the ASU LEAPS Military Infrastructure Resiliency Design Competition.  The students were tasked with assessing the vulnerabilities of a military base and creating an emergency response plan for a threat such as a hurricane or a pandemic.  After creating their plan, they presented it to a panel of judges and awaited the results.  Their team was one of the top 3 finalists, and they each received a $2,000 scholarship to any educational institution that they choose to attend.
