Sonoran Heights is a 5th through 8th grade middle school in Dysart Unified School District. Opened in 2006, our vision is that we are dedicated to the development of critical thinking skills and technology-infused instruction, while providing a safe environment of personalized learning through a community approach for every student, every day. Sonoran Height is an ‘A’ rated school and has earned the A+ School of Excellence Award. At Sonoran Heights we create active learners by focusing on student strengths, needs and interests. Students at Sonoran Heights participate in a personalized learning environment with opportunities for academic advancement as appropriate for each student. Student growth is maximized through the strong relationships they build within their classroom and school

We offer elective options for students throughout the school day and have high school class options for our eighth grade students.
